Is it a line of long-legged beheaded beings joined by piping? or a prehistoric monster become wood? Or a clever use of trees that had to be cleared to establish the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens in Victoria being put to artistic purpose? It is certainly a fun to walk through the ‘limbs’. Once across the small bridge at the end of the creature another section of the garden unfolds. I took this photo in the early days of the garden’s life, I have to go back this year I think to see what has taken shape since then. I wonder if this magnificent effort will still be standing. I rather hope it is.
