Quite a while ago I took my grandson to an art workshop with a children’s author/illustrator. He had to be accompanied so I took part in it too. It was a lot of fun, sloshing liberal amounts of the black inky substance on the most beautifully absorbant art paper to make some images. Mono work can be a challenge, but I think the kids produced some amazing imagery and I took a photo or two of the resulting mural comprising all the small artworks by those who were there (children’s work only of course not any of mine). I rather liked the apprehension of the thief with a large revolver and the thief holding on tight to a bag full of $$$.
The theme was ‘life in the city’ covering ideas of housing, transport, and daily life.
